And this post is especially for Final year students. I hope every one of attending the 6th semester i.e. final sem of diploma course now. I assume even few training classes and project works are assigned to all of you in the first month of the semester itself.
In the meanwhile, a lot of you are wondering what to do after this semester. Many of you might be in some type of dilemma. To clarify all those doubts and bring you out of that dilemma, we are going to discuss the all major possible things you can do after completing this 6th-semester diploma. You might belong to any branch, whether it may be Civil, Computer Science, Mechanical, E and E or E and C, Automobile, Architecture, Internal Design, Meteorology, etc. Let it be any other branch, this post suits everyone.
So, what to do after diploma?
In simple words, do what you like. Wait! You may be heard this freaking line almost hundred times. But, yet you are not satisfied, right?
Few of you might say I don’t know what I need or what I want exactly, or few of you might are ready to do anything that can improve your life. If you didn’t even feel any of the above, then also just don’t worry, Everyone is not the same person.
Now, coming to the reality, we will mention few things below briefly to clarify your thoughts.
Engineering Degree Course (B.E or B.Tech)
Well, this is the same pit where everyone falls! I am not degrading engineering course by any means, but, these days it’s too crowded because of blind followers of trend or because of your parents, relatives suggestion. Don’t be such blind follower. Unless you want to become an engineer, don’t go for it.
Keep calm for few minutes and think, do you really love to do engineer or you want to do something else? Do you really find this syllabus worth for you? I am seriously not telling you not to do engineering; my main point is, think before doing anything. Listen to your heart, do what it says.
Side course or extra courses
Okay, you don’t want to take engineering Degree also if you don’t know what to do after final year diploma. Then, you always have an option to join side courses to improve your skills.
This is one of the best things you can do to get a good career in future.
You can do the Designing course, or get management training from reputed institutions or you can even get production level training, which will be considered as plus point while applying for jobs.
If you don’t want to spend money on all those training or courses, there is something which pays you as well as train you to be a good engineer i.e. Internship.
So, what is internship?
In Internship, you apply to a company requesting to join their internship program. There will be few written, oral and practical tests, where you need to get good points. If you showed good performance, then those companies will appoint you as an intern in their company, where you are going to get trained in all sectors of the company. There will be small salary during your internship. Once, your program is over, if you had overall good performance, they will provide your permanent job in the company for a good salary.
There is one more chance, you can even get that internship passing certificate and add it to your resume, which increases the chances of getting jobs in other companies as well.
This is the best thing you can do ever in life. Well, this option is also not for everyone else, only few people with dedication, passion, commitment, goal, and strong mentality can survive in Entrepreneur world.
There are two types of Entrepreneur,
- Solo Entrepreneur
- Building company
You can either use your talent and make your name as brand and use it to earn lots of money. It might be painting, dancing, or coder etc.
Or, you can either setup your own company with good people if you have any idea for a start-up. Always choose idea, in which you are highly passionate. But, remember, while building company, never involve too many people, there is one saying “If you can’t share two pizzas, then your company is too large” So, always choose only few good hardworking people as your core company during the starting days. Once, you started earning good, and then you can easily expand your company by hiring employers.
This post is still in progress, will update other options soon.
